Jab, cross, hooks, uppercuts and the footwork behind them. Tuesday and Thursday at 6:00 PM.
Claim Your Free WeekBoxing is the art of the hands. With only punches to work with, it goes deeper on footwork, timing, distance and defence than any other striking sport, and those skills carry over to everything else you train.
Our classes are technique-led. Each session begins with footwork and shadow boxing, moves on to bag and pad work and partner drills, and finishes with defensive drills or controlled sparring depending on the evening. New students spend their first weeks on stance, movement and the basic punches before any sparring is introduced.
The curriculum covers the jab, cross, hooks and uppercuts, combinations off each, and the defence that goes with them: slipping, rolling, blocking, parrying and moving off the line. It is a hard workout, but the focus is always on doing things correctly.
Daniel leads the program, bringing more than ten years of boxing and over twenty amateur fights. He trained under Adrian Teodorescu at Atlas Boxing and is a Quebec Cup champion. He teaches boxing the way he learned it: stance, footwork and distance first, then the hands.
Tuesday and Thursday at 6:00 PM, at consistent times throughout the year.
Head movement, footwork and guard are part of every class, not something left until you start sparring.
Sparring is controlled, supervised and always optional. Students are never required to take part in order to progress.
Boxing on Tuesday and Thursday, Muay Thai on the other days, with wrestling at 7:00 PM and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at 8:00 PM, so it is easy to build a full week of training.
Times are pulled live from the academy schedule, so this page cannot drift out of date. See the full timetable for every class we run.

I've spent twenty-plus years training and coaching martial arts, and I can tell you without hesitation: most people training Muay Thai never develop real clinch transition skills. They get comfortable in the clinch, throw some elbows...
I've been coaching martial arts for a long time now, and I can tell you with absolute certainty: the clinch separates the people who actually train martial arts from the people who just think they do. It's where technique meets heart...
