Muay Thai is the striking art of Thailand, built around eight points of contact — two fists, two elbows, two knees and two shins. It is the most complete stand-up system in martial arts, and the clinch work in particular is something no other striking sport teaches properly.

Our classes are technique-first. Every session starts with footwork and shadow work, moves to pads and partner drills, and finishes with clinch or controlled sparring depending on the night. You will spend your early weeks learning to stand, step and throw a clean jab and teep before anyone asks you to spar.

Ivan Primorac leads the program with over twenty years of Muay Thai and an international competition background. His coaching leans on authentic technique and fight IQ rather than conditioning for its own sake — you will finish class tired, but you will finish it having learned something specific.

What makes this class different

Six nights a week

Monday through Friday at 6:00 PM and Saturday at 1:00 PM. Consistent times, so it fits around a work week without planning.

Real clinch instruction

Most gyms in the GTA teach kickboxing and call it Muay Thai. We train the clinch — neck control, knees, sweeps and off-balancing — because that is where Thai fights are actually decided.

Sparring is opt-in

Controlled, technical, and never compulsory. Nobody gets fed to the wolves on their first month, and headhunting is not tolerated in our room.

It pairs with everything else here

Muay Thai runs at 6:00 PM, wrestling at 7:00 PM, BJJ at 8:00 PM. Stacking two is common and it is how you build a genuine all-round game.

Questions parents and beginners ask

What gear do I need for my first class?

Nothing. Shorts and a t-shirt is fine to start. Once you commit you will want your own gloves, wraps and shin guards — we stock all three in the shop and can size you properly rather than guessing online.

Will I have to spar?

Not unless you choose to. Sparring is a separate part of the session, it is always controlled, and you opt in. Many members train for months purely on pads and drills.

I have never thrown a punch. Is this the wrong class?

It is exactly the right class. The beginner path here is footwork, then the jab and the teep, then everything else. You are not expected to arrive knowing anything.

Can I train Muay Thai and BJJ on the same membership?

Yes. One adult membership covers every adult class on the schedule — Muay Thai, BJJ, wrestling and open mat. There is no per-discipline pricing.

Your first week is free
